II. ART COLONY OF DRAŽEN AND IDA JAKŠIĆ IN DONJI HUMAC ON ISLAND BRAČ

Marriage couple Jakšić in this very beautiful and pitoresque place have operation section for remodelling of Brač marble ,making souvenirs mostly of Brač and have atelier in which are organized alread known art colony for beginners and persons who already have experience in stone remodelling.

Donji Humac is 7 km from main Brač place Supetar, has very good private accomodation, known restaurant “Kopačina” and several stone cutters of famous Brač marble. Art colonies are organized all year around except July and August and specially in spring and autumn under supervision of known mentors.

for persons with experience who don't need mentor , daily price is 34 eur
for persons without experience with stone and need mentor , daily price is 64 eur

III. SCHOOL OF EUROPEAN KNOWN ACADEMY SCULPTOR PERO JAKŠIĆ-DONJI HUMAC

Across Europe known academy sculptor Pero Jakšić lives and works in Donji Humac on island Brač. His numerous sculptures and exhibitions in Europe show this is unique person.Although famous sculptor is occupied with numerous orders , agency “ Maestral” arranged possibility for working and stay in atelier of Pero Jakšić. Atelier has 4 working steats in innerside, and 4 outside working seats. It is recommended stay and work between 2 and 3 persons at the same time during stay in Donji Humac.
Price for daily stay in atelier with supervision of mentor ( often Pero Jakšić ) is 58 eur, included in price is also blocks tone 30x30x50 cm.
For season 2005. artist will have at disposal near his atelier 2 apartments 2+1 type studio with air condition for accomodating his guests.

Minimum number of participants is 8 and maximum for each group is 12. Courses can be held in major part of the year but it is specially recommended during the summer season where are the best conditions for work.
School owns a van for excursions for island Brač tour. Half day rent of van till 8 hours of rent is 134 eur and whole day rent is 224 eur. During stay can be organized excursions to : Bol, Supetar, boat excursions to River Cetina, fish picnic.
