15 DAYS PROGRAMME

DAY 1. - Arrival on island Brač, accommodation in traditional stone houses in centre in Sutivan
DAY 2. –Going to countryside field, picking up olives, lunch, picking up olives
DAY 3. –Gathering tangerines, in afternoon preparing marmalade of them – each person gets one jar of marmalade
DAY 4. –Trekking through fields around Sutivan, gathering asparagus in evening preparing dinner of asparagus on traditional style… tasting
DAY 5. –Enjoying whole day preparing traditional confectionery and desserts made by old recipes from Brač, feeling flavour of Brač’s history trough tasting delicious sweets of Brač’s cuisine
DAY 6. –Trekking and gathering medicinal herbs….. In late afternoon from 5 medicinal herbs preparing traditional brandy called TRAVARICA… every participant gets for free one bottle of that amazing drink
DAY 7. –Transfer to mountain Vidova Gora (highest top of Adriatic islands 778m) , trekking, visiting Ecco village Gažul, tasting exceptional Brač’s prosciutto and cheese
DAY 8. – Rest day
DAY 9. –Trekking, gathering wild cabbage, learning more about them and in the end preparing dinner made of wild cabbage.
DAY 10. - Going to countryside field, picking up black olives… preparing black olives for eating… every participant gets one jar of black olives
DAY 11. –Traditional-fishing day (mrežice, vrše, parangali, squids) …depends on wether conditions…. in evening preparing catch of fish on Dalmatian style… tasting
DAY 12. –Bike day…. Easy going drive…on way enjoying the most beautiful look up to sea… to Supetar ..shopping
DAY 13. –Visiting around Brač and visiting Brač’s marble stone quarries, story about famous Brač’s stone, visiting stone-masonry workshops, local sculptors and stone-masonry high school
DAY 14. –Processing olives… taking crop into oil mill in Sutivan and learning how to produce olives’ oil… every participant gets one bottle of oil…
DAY 15. – Departure

These programmes are suitable for all generations and ideal for senior generations who like light activity.
The accommodation is in traditionall stone houses. Breakfast and dinner in a tipical dalmatian wine cellar “Konoba” in the center of the village. Lunch-paket is included in activity days. The participants have 4-5 hours light activities. English speaking guide is available.
