15 DAYS PROGRAMME

DAY 1: Arrival on island Brač, accomodation in traditional stone houses in center in Sutivan
DAY 2: Trekking and gathering medicinal herbs….. In late afternoon from 5 medicinal herbs prepering tradicional “rakija” called TRAVARICA… every participant gets for free one bottle of that amazing drink
DAY 3: Transfer to mountain Vidova Gora (highest top of Adriatic islands 778m) , trekking , visiting Ecco village Gažul, tasting exceptional Brač’s prosciutto and cheese
DAY 4. Traditional fishing day (mrežice, vrše, parangali, squids) …depending on wether conditions…. in evening preparing catch of fish on Dalmatian style… tasting
DAY 5: Visiting monastery and museum in desert Blaca from 15. Century
DAY 6: Enjoying whole day preparing traditional confectionery and desserts made by old recipes from Brač, feeling flavor of Brač’s history trough tasting delicious sweets of Brač’s cousine
DAY 7: Trekking along northwest coast of the island, swimming, sunbathing in one hidden bay – collecting sea food (priljepci, nanare and matare) – eatable wild plant, for dinner preparing and tasting the collected sea food.
DAY 8: Rest day, swimming, sunbathing in nearby bays
DAY 9: Trekking, gathering wild cabbage, learning more about them, and in the end preparing dinner made of wild cabbage.
DAY 10 Visiting around Brač and visiting Brač’s marble stone quarries, story about famous Brač’s stone, visiting stone-masonry workshops, local sculptors and stone-masonry high school and island museum of Brač
DAY 11 Visit of natur park, lerning croatian language and traditional dalmatian games (balote, cards), tournament for participants
DAY 12Sightseeing Split, shopping
DAY 13 Bike day…. Easy going drive…on way enjoying the most beautiful sea view… to Supetar..shoping
DAY 14: Fish picnick to the island of Solta…story about Šolta honey and his quality internationaly recognized..swimming, sunbathing..
DAY 15: Departure
