Success of every company, especially of a travel agency is based on quality and experience of employees. Our agency “Maestral” has been founded in 1989. by Mr. Zvonimir Butorac, and is one of the first private agencies in Croatia.

ZVONIMIR BUTORAC

after more than 48 years working in tourism business, on different managing functions, in Croatia and Germany, from Hostel and Hotel director, Tourist Board director in Munich, part of the Olympic Committee during Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo, and after managing “Maestral” for more than 21 years, retired End 2009.

As everyone knows him, as a very active expert in tourism business, he still will be supporting “Maestral” as a Marketing Consultant.

VILMA BUTORAC-STIMAC

Director

Followed the foot steps of her parents in tourism. Graduated Tourism Management in Zagreb and Munich Faculty, with main subject tour operator/transport. Started to work, for an incoming tour operator Dalmacijaturist, during summer holidays in high school.

Gained experience, in different agencies in Germany, Austria and Croatia. Taught at the Split University „Management for travel agencies“.

Worked as project consultant, for German technical cooperation on different tourism development projects in Croatia. Speaks fluently German, English, and Italian and has a good understanding of French and Spanish.

Responsible for: VIP, FIT, MICE and Special Interest Groups

DAVORKA STOJANAC

Has almost 30 years of working experience in tourism from which 10 years, in first Dalmatian Tour Operator “Dalmacijaturist” and another 19 years in Maestral agency.

Responsible for: markets of ex-Yugoslavia and accounting.

MARIA ŠOLA

Sales Manager

Is working in our agency almost 15 years. She speaks and writes English and Italian.

Responsible as Sales manager for all markets beside ex-Yugoslavia.
